About Me

My name is Patricia Sukore, I am a lawyer and have been called to the Nigerian Bar. My passion has always been giving and being a gift to my generation. I am also a writer, the chief editor and publisher of a bi-monthly magazine called 'Empatty', this name is coined from both my husband's name- Emmanuel, and mine. The name Empatty also represents the word 'Empathy' which means the ability to understand someone's feelings or experience. The magazine advocates the general well being of the female gender. My passion and my experiences were the motivating factors responsible for my decision to delve into counselling and representation of women and children. The president and founder of an NGO - 'SUCCOUR FOR WOMEN AND CHILDREN', registered as: PATRICIA SUKORE FOUNDATION FOR WOMEN AND CHILDREN - used as a tool for organising Seminars and workshops which serves as another avenue for reaching out to women who are hurting and girls who have gone through the experience of abuse in one way or the other. Aside using this blog as a medium for enlightenment, it also serves as an awareness platform for publishing our events at 'SUCCOUR FOR WOMEN AND CHILDREN' whose operation is currently in Lagos, Nigeria.
