Today, more than 2 billion people
live on less than $2 a day. There are 263 million children and young
people not in school and most are girls. In Nigeria, the number of primary
school aged children not in school is increasing. We believe that all children should be able to go to great public
schools but that sadly that’s not the case at the moment,the schools on offer
to them suffer from uneven quality, corruption, chronic underfunding and
rampant teacher absenteeism – or they are expensive private schools.
What we do disrupts the status quo, and we know that can be upsetting to
those who want things to stay the same. However, today’s status quo is
simply unacceptable as long as millions of children around the world are
without high-quality education.

This Non-governmental organization addresses issues relating to women and children (especially girls), the most vulnerable people. Concerns are dealt with as touching sustained livelihood for women and children. Matters regarding rape, child abuse, violence towards women and children, FGM - are set at top priority. 24 hour Help lines are available, seminars and workshops are organised and welfare programs are provided for women, children and widows.
