Washington, D.C.—Human Rights First today condemned passage of a new law in Poland which severely restricts the ability of nongovernmental organizations to operate within the country. The bill was signed by Polish President Andrzej Duda last week.
This Non-governmental organization addresses issues relating to women and children (especially girls), the most vulnerable people. Concerns are dealt with as touching sustained livelihood for women and children. Matters regarding rape, child abuse, violence towards women and children, FGM - are set at top priority. 24 hour Help lines are available, seminars and workshops are organised and welfare programs are provided for women, children and widows.
