The governor, who was represented by his deputy, Yomi Awoniyi, lamented the growing number of rape cases, saying efforts are on to tackle it headlong.While warning against all forms of child abuse and violence against women, he noted that the Child's Right Law is aimed at protecting women and children.Earlier, Dr Bilqis Mohammed said the programme, which is a personal community development project, is geared towards boosting gender equality and improving women health.Dr. Mohammed said women between the ages of 15 and 44 are more at risk of rape and domestic violence.
